Labor Day Tournament and more fed. waters open.
Good luck anglers fishing the 44th Mobile Big Game Club Labor Day Tournament! Hope the bite is on now that we can finally wet some lines! Everyone come out and show your support and show the world just how important our events are to the environmental and economic health of this area!
Just in time NOAA announced yesterday the opening of more federal waters for recreational and commercial fishing which is fantastic news that can only get better with time. Looks to be an area roughly 50 miles offshore south of Biloxi then east to south of Panama City, Florida.
Peeyawwww...let's go fishing boys!

Rules update for 2010
For 2010 we are going back to our original rules in place prior to hurricane Katrina stating that all boats must leave from Biloxi. With this change we are also moving up the time of departure from 4:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. to allow for a safer run out.
The rule now reads as follows:
3. TOURNAMENT START:

Boats must depart from Biloxi anytime after 3:00 P.M., Thursday. A boat parade will head west from Point Cadet Marina beginning promptly at 3:00 P.M.
